Every definition on this site is quoted from, or summarised from, the publication named in the sources at the foot of the page. If you find a discrepancy, tell us which page and which paragraph, and give the source you are comparing against.
Editorial standards
We quote the manuals verbatim where wording matters and mark our own translations as working translations. We do not publish figures or claims without a source a reader can check. We do not host or redistribute the manuals themselves; we link to their publishers.
We use artificial intelligence tools to help find sources, prepare drafts and check texts, and we do so ethically and openly. We work with several independent tools and cross-check their results against one another, and every figure and quotation is verified against its source. Nothing is published without the approval of the editorial team, which takes responsibility for every text on the site.
